Trace

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms apply to Trace: Private Voice Journal ("Trace", "the app"), an iPhone app made by Pedro Nascimento ("I", "me"). By downloading or using Trace, you agree to these terms.

The app

Trace is free to download. Some features are available through Trace Pro, an optional one-time in-app purchase. I may update, change, or discontinue features of the app over time.

Purchases

Trace and Trace Pro are distributed and sold through Apple's App Store. Payments, refunds, and restoring purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and policies. Refund requests should be made to Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Apple's standard license

Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with that agreement, Apple's agreement controls to the extent required.

Your content

What you write or record in Trace is yours. You are responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups, for example by using the app's export feature. See the Privacy page for how data is handled.

Acceptable use

Don't use Trace in violation of any law, or attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app.

No warranty

Trace is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I don't guarantee the app will be error-free or that data will never be lost.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. My total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
